9-week Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting

About this Course

Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting (MBCP) is a 9-week mindful birthing and parenting course. This course offers intensive training in mindfulness and mindfulness meditation with a focus on utilizing mindfulness to work with pain, fear, and anxiety during labor, to cultivate greater confidence around the labor and delivery experience, and to develop skills for managing the stress of pregnancy, parenting, and life.

About Nicole

Nicole teaches others about the basics of mindfulness through her work as a Community Resilience Method teacher with the Trauma Resource Institute. She is also a Certified Nurse-Midwife who practices at Atlanta Birth Center, and a researcher at Emory University. Nicole is trained to teach Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting through the Mindful Birthing and Parenting Foundation.
